What could we see?
Two Island Wildlife Trips
Island Ranger, Seal Safari and the RIB (approx. 1 hour)
We are very lucky to have two islands (Caldey & St Margaret’s) teeming with wildlife, a mile or so off Tenby. We can always find the seals, they move around the islands with the tide. We don’t chase them, we let them come to us; at times they swim so close you can almost touch them. Coastal and Sea birds galore, moving with the seasons. These trips run daily, weather permitting.
On these trips we do occasionally see dolphin (increased sightings August -Sept) but it is far from always – a treat when we do. Island wildlife trips are suitable for all (no age restriction) and excellent value – a family of 4 can take a trip for just £60.
We work hard to make every one of these engaging and special – you’ll still be chatting about what you saw on the way home!
Offshore Trips
Very different to the island wildlife trips. Two hours+ on our big capable RIB, headed 8-14 miles out to the edge of the Celtic Deep. Min age 8 and a brave 8 at that. Dress well for a proper sea passage; windchill will cool you quickly and you may get wet.
Not suitable for all. You have to be easy-going and up for an adventure. Relative to our island wildlife trips, this one has a higher price tag – £60pp. The boat only carries 12 passengers, no discount for children.
We only go offshore when the wind is low, below 12mph; significantly less often than our island wildlife trips. You can’t book online, give us a call and we’ll let you know what we’ve got going on.
If the above hasn’t put you off.. This trip is exceptional. Very, very.. we mean very high chance of at least one dolphin encounter. We often see Minke whale, seabirds, Sunfish, baitballs – awesomeness.

Local Wildlife Guardians
In 2015 we developed a conservancy project around the Islands. The aim is to inform the public on sensitive areas and key seasons for all marine wildlife, encouraging awareness and sensitive interaction. This has been so effective the method has been adopted by other islands around the country.
You will notice our skippers skilfully balancing your experience with the well being of the wildlife during all interactions.
