2021 – We’re very happy to welcome you back!
However, it is not business as usual in Tenby Harbour again this year. Harbour businesses and boatmen are all working together to allow us to collectively manage our duty of care to our customers.
To help with this we are asking where possible for customers to pre book trips at least the day before arriving at the harbour. This can now be done, hassle free using this website. We will be accepting bookings on the day but to avoid disappointment, capacity is much reduced on all vessels, advance booking is recommended.
For example: Island Ranger, our new 3 decked cruise boat, usually able to carry up to 120 passengers is limited to 60 in order to maintain 2m social distancing.
We’re operating windows for customers to be with us – asking you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your trip to receive on the day information from the booking office, process or purchase your ticket and to join the que no more than 15 minutes prior to departure.
This will help us manage the volume of people in any area.
When disembarking the boats we’re asking that you leave the pier, booking area (Castle Square) or Castle beach where the landing stage operates from when the tide is out of the harbour.
On the boats – Hand sanitizer is available on all boats but helpful if you are able to bring your own.
Face masks will be worn by the crew when boarding. Currently, when maintaining 2m social distancing, customers are not required to wear a face covering but it is recommended.
Toilets are emergency only.
Well behaved dogs allowed but you must use a lead.
Accessing the vessel – We are unable to give the usual level of assistance due to the increased risk of transmission so please bear this in mind when booking.
If you have been advised that you are clinically extremely vulnerable; have a temperature, a new continuous cough; have lost your sense of smell or taste; have been in contact with any person who has displayed the symptoms of Covid-19 – please do not visit us this year. We look forward to welcoming you next year.
